I know many of us are feeling a sense of loss and depression during this social distancing quarantine. After all, social distancing sounds like an oxymoron because the reason we socialize is so we can be together. We have this strong desire to be with those that we share common interests. This is very strong for the Christian when the key to our faith is founded on the resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ. Gathering together during Palm Sunday and Easter is a tradition embedded in our hearts.

As Jesus spent three days in the tomb (quarantine), it was temporary, as our feelings of being entombed in our homes. The good news is that Jesus knew that the resurrection would come and we would be recipients of his kingdom grace as we place our faith in him. As Christians we don't need to be depressed about missing Easter services because of the quarantine because every day is a celebration of the Resurrection of Jesus. His Victory over death bring us life.

We will all be out soon enough. Read your Bibles, pray, and give thanks to God for the extra social time we get to spend with Him.

Thank you for the uplifting message. We can and should read our bibles and watch God's word on TV and on our computers. We can still celebrate the Resurrection!

Amen Pastor, thanks for the words of encouragement.
