Bethel Baptist Church Reopening Guidelines

We look forward to again worshiping together at Bethel. However, we still do not have a vaccine or effective treatment for the COVID19 virus and precautions are necessary. These guidelines have been recommended by the White House Coronavirus Task Force and we will follow them until further changes are required.

We will only have church services at first and not Sunday School. The service will begin at 10:30 a.m.

When you enter the church, we request you use hand sanitizer which will be available. We will not hand out bulletins, but Pastor will have the schedule up on… read more

Love Adds the Chocolate

by: Steven Robinson

---------------------- "Love Adds The Chocolate" --------------------

A house is a house is a house--until love comes through the door,
that is. And love intuitively goes around sprinkling that special
brand of angel dust that transforms a house into a very special home
for very special people: your family.

Money, of course, can build a charming house, but only love can
furnish it with a feeling of home.

Duty can pack an adequate sack lunch, but love may decide to tuck
a little love note inside.

What If Everyone Were Like Me

by: Steven Robinson

----------------- "What If Everyone Were Like Me?" -----------------

In thinking about Ministry, and the importance of every person being involved in serving I asked myself this question: "What If Everyone In The Church Were Like Me?"

It doesn’t matter if you spend a lot of time serving or only attend. We all could be shocked by our answers.

The Power of Prayer

by: Steven Robinson

In his book Living Life on Purpose, Greg Anderson shares the story of one man's journey to joy:

One rainy morning this man went to a small neighborhood restaurant for breakfast. Although several people were at the diner, no one was speaking to anyone else. Our miserable friend hunched over the counter, stirring his coffee with a spoon.

In one of the small booths along the window… read more

The Jesus Quarantine

by: Steven Robinson

I know many of us are feeling a sense of loss and depression during this social distancing quarantine. After all, social distancing sounds like an oxymoron because the reason we socialize is so we can be together. We have this strong desire to be with those that we share common interests. This is very strong for the Christian when the key to our faith is founded on the resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ. Gathering together during Palm Sunday and Easter is a tradition embedded in our hearts.

As Jesus spent three days in the tomb (quarantine), it was temporary, as… read more
